Summer Holidays

I usually take advantage of the summer holidays to be at home and rest (zzz), run at the time I like the most and not at the time that "I can" (depending on what I feel like) and organize activities with my friends without pressure of having to study or prepare something for university...

The last summer holidays pre-pandemic I had were in Huasco (the city where I live when I'm not studying in Santiago), actually they were summer "semi-vacation", because Uchile= classes until February (due to strikes that always happen during academic year), so traveling to Santiago (10 hours one way and 10 hours back) was part of the panorama several times during January (Yes, I'm the kind of person who prefer to travel than stay dying of heat there in Santiago). Anyway the time I was in Huasco I took the opportunity to attend African dance classes on the beach somedays at week, with some women of different ages (something totally new for me and one that I enjoyed a lot). The rest of the summer was spent sleeping, eating, running, and going out.

My ideal summer perspective is to be calm and without pressure, yes, just that, I even think that even traveling doesn't excite me that much, because in general I am very stressed with preparations and having to plan things (which nobody else takes care of).

Later on, and after social distancing restrictions are relaxed, I find interesting learning something new, where I can meet new people..., aerial fabric acrobatics ? Why not?

  1. The most important thing is to be able to rest from the university, this year the goal is to heal our mental health a little hahah,
