A country I would like to visit

Hi again! At this time I want to talk about a country I would like to visit, Japan. 

Since I was little, Japan has caught my attention. The first time I have notion of this country was through various animes, like Sailor Moon, Slam Dunk, Knights of the Zodiac, Dragon Ball Z, etc. Since then, I have been very curious about the landscapes and their culture so different from what I am used to here in Chile.
Years later I learned that Japan is one of the most polluted countries in the world, and also has one of the highest teen suicide rates in the world, Anyway when I think of Japan, comes to my mind the image of green fields and cherry trees.
I would like to go there to live, for know and learn more about this country, in terms of traditions, as well as the most modern and technological part, but only for a year or two, althought you never know... I am open to the possibilities! :)

    Hehe, we all freaking weebs'd love to visit the place where all those stories come from. Live there for some time and go out to see the cherry blossom trees, go to eat ramen or so in a small cart, even if the work was a pain it'd be great to experience it.

    Ayyy it makes me very beautiful place Japan, and as you say its culture so different is very interesting to know, hopefully someday you will fulfill your dream of going there.

    I love Spain because of the cultural diversity it had (Judeo, Muslim, Christian, Visigodo) and how this can be seen in the food and candys jejeje

    To be honest, I also thought of Japan as a destination thanks to anime. Sadly, the country is not how it turns out to be in novels and series :(

A food I really like

One food that I really like is oatmeal cookies, I adore when they are fresh out of the oven and the whole house smells of spices and sweet, seriously who could not like something like that, just a psychopath (my dad hates those smells haha , but loves to eat them). I make them by placing oats, walnuts, cloves, nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon, sugar and an egg in a deep bowl, stir everything and place it directly in the oven mold. After 10-15 min on high heat ... voila! The best cookies in the world! I love to eat them with a giant bowl of boiling chocolate, at any time of the day, almost every day of the week, I am very vicious with food! What I like the most is that those flavors and smells bring back memories of when I was little and my mom would cook us cakes, cookies and a million different desserts every weekend. Personally, I think it is a healthy, delicious and good option for my health, very nutritious, and even if it was not, it is always healthy for the mind to eat something delicio...

Summer Holidays

I usually take advantage of the summer holidays to be at home and rest (zzz), run at the time I like the most and not at the time that "I can" (depending on what I feel like) and organize activities with my friends without pressure of having to study or prepare something for university... The last summer holidays pre-pandemic I had were in Huasco (the city where I live when I'm not studying in Santiago), actually they were summer "semi-vacation", because Uchile= classes until February (due to strikes that always happen during academic year), so traveling to Santiago (10 hours one way and 10 hours back) was part of the panorama several times during January (Yes, I'm the kind of person who prefer to travel than stay dying of heat there in Santiago).
